Our Approach
Inequity in the pest control industry, and all industries, has created a racial wealth gap that we are all struggling to close. To address this, our mission is simple – invest in the economic advancement of the black community. The opportunity available through the field of pest management provides a channel to do just that.
The black community is severely underserved due to a cyclical racial wealth gap created through years of negligence and discriminatory practices and policies. We believe that economic inclusion can solve the grave problem of inequality in our country.
That inclusion begins with access and support, which gives our community equal footing and power. Regardless of political ideology or cultural background, we believe in the advancement of all people. We can all achieve the American Dream.
Support Current Owners
Identify current Black owners in the pest management industry and support their business growth through mentorship and access to resources.
Industry Employee Outreach
Identify potential future Black owners currently involved in the pest control industry and support the upward mobility in their careers. We view this step as the catalyst for them to begin their path to ownership.
Engage New Audiences
Engage in outreach to the Black community at large to inform them of the critical role pest management plays in the lives of all people and discuss potential business opportunities available in the field.
